Celebrating a Year of Impact: Bitou 10 Foundation’s End-of-Year Breakfast

As we wrap up another incredible year of making a difference in the lives of learners, the Bitou 10 Foundation held its end-of-year breakfast at the cozy Roadside Café – a gathering filled with energy, gratitude, and a shared passion for education.
Our full-time staff, as well as some contracted team members, and directors came together for this special morning to reflect on the achievements of 2024 and look ahead to the exciting opportunities of 2025. The atmosphere was buzzing with positive energy and forward-thinking conversations!
Inspiring Words from Leadership
Our Chairperson, Mr. Douglas Baartman, kicked off the morning with powerful words of inspiration, setting the tone for the day. He highlighted the importance of dedication, resilience, and the collective effort that drives the success of our mission.
We were also privileged to have Janet Jooste, the Western Cape Education Department’s Foundation Phase Curriculum Advisor, join us. Janet expressed her heartfelt appreciation for the work the Bitou 10 Foundation does in supporting schools across the area. She shared with us that she is the envy of her peers, as they look to the strong partnership we’ve built in the region. We are so grateful for our partnership so far and look forward to much more collaboration in the future!
A Heartfelt Thanks
Before we parted ways, one of our directors, Ruby Chetty, took a moment to thank everyone for their unwavering commitment and tireless efforts throughout the year. Her words resonated deeply with all present, reminding us that the success of Bitou 10 Foundation is a direct result of the passion and hard work of each and every individual involved.
As we look ahead to 2025, we are excited about the road ahead and the continued impact we will make in our communities, schools, and the lives of our learners. Thank you to everyone who has been part of our journey this year – your dedication is what makes us who we are.
