The Bitou 10 Foundation, in proud partnership with Learn Grow Earn (LGE), ran an inspiring Teaching Assistant Training Initiative at Kranshoek Primary School — and we couldn’t be more excited!

Over 4 powerful days, our dedicated B10F manager, Sooneela Naina, led a transformative training experience for a group of newly contracted teaching assistants. This initiative is all about building confidence, competence, and community. 

The focus? Equipping assistants with the tools they need to THRIVE in the classroom — from understanding children and nurturing their learning journeys, to promoting positive discipline, ensuring professionalism, and upholding safety in every corner of the school.

A huge shoutout to Channon from LGE, who has been placed as a Library Assistant at Kranshoek Primary through a B10F project! She’s been trained in hosting captivating storytelling sessions followed by fun, engaging activities for all Grade 1 to 3 learners — sparking imagination and love for reading from an early age!
