We are thrilled to introduce you to Levern Luiters, our amazing Library Assistant who’s bringing a wave of enthusiasm and creativity to the School Library Project at Kranshoek Primary School!
Levern is well known to the pupils as she assisted in the Grade 3 class last year, and is always helping out where they need a hand. This year has seen her embark on a fantastic journey with Grade 1 to 3 learners, diving into the world of stories through engaging reading sessions. Each session kicks off with vocabulary exploration, flows into captivating storytelling, and wraps up with fun, creative activities that make each story come alive!
The results? Our young readers are absolutely thriving! They’re diving into the stories with passion and taking home reading materials to further their literacy journey. And here’s the best part – we’re eagerly awaiting a generous donation from AVBOB worth R65,000 to stock our library shelves with even more amazing books!
A huge shoutout to the Kranshoek Municipal librarians for their support with a book retrieval system while we finalize our computer software. Your help is invaluable!
